Chocolate Cream Tiramisu
Jeremy is a chocolate lover! If chocolate isn’t an option for dessert, he doesn’t want it. One date night, we were out for dinner at an Italian restaurant and ordered the tiramisu because, of course, there wasn’t a chocolate option. As we were enjoying the dessert, he said, “This would be so much better if it was chocolate! Can you make me a chocolate tiramisu?”
And that’s how this chocolate tiramisu was born.
This is a dessert that requires lots of love, but don’t let the lengthy recipe scare you away. It’s a simple recipe that just needs time and patience.
Destiny’s Chicken Marinade
This is one of those recipes I come back to again and again, on busy days, slow weekends, or nights when I don’t want to overthink dinner. This marinade always works. It’s simple, reliable, and somehow makes every cut of chicken taste like you put in far more effort than you did.
It’s my go-to marinade, but also my go-to salad dressing. It’s so versatile, and a reminder that cooking at home doesn’t need to be complicated.
Cookie Dough Bars
There are days you want cookies… but not the effort of scooping trays, waiting for batches, and doing a sink full of dishes after.
This recipe came from one of those afternoons. Craving something warm, chocolatey, and comforting, but still made with ingredients I feel good about.
So instead of making cookies, I spread the dough into a pan and baked it all at once.
The result?
Soft, chewy, oatmeal-style chocolate chip bars with crisp edges and a tender centre. Everything you want from a cookie, just simpler.
They’re naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free, but more importantly… they taste like a treat. Not a “healthy substitute.”
Because good food should still feel comforting.
Granola without the Sh*t
Most store-bought granolas are made with inflammatory oils or refined sugars. I’ve looked at almost every granola ingredient list out there, and there’s only been one that was “Destiny-approved” however, it still had a high sugar content. For me, it just wasn’t something I felt good about reaching for in the morning as part of a balanced breakfast.
This homemade granola is my absolute favourite, and I hope it becomes yours too. It’s incredibly easy to whip together, and you still get those chunky, crunchy granola clusters we all love.
